"Change the context and you change the meaning of your experience." Many of the common headache cases are quite often misdiagnosed. You experience the arresting sensations or the attention grabbing pain that throbs inside your head. It surfaces out of no where - you think - and occupies the deck that sits attached on top of your neck. Millions of Americans suffer from primary headaches each day. According to medical reports, tension headaches are the most common type of primary headache; as many as 90% of adults have had or will have tension headaches. Tension headaches are more common among women than men. Migraine headaches are the second most common type of primary headache. The report goes on to say that "An estimated 28 million people in the United States (about 12% of the population) will experience migraine headaches." STOP THE PRESS!! Let's read the last sentence again. Sounds like a seed that has already been planted in the minds of the millions that will read news, medical journals and reports that predict the incoming profits far ahead of time while concurrently planting self fulfilling prophetic seeds in the simple minds of humans. In this case I focus on Americans since I write from the land of the Braves. Those seeds will blossom into statistics to prove their initial markers. This by the way is a way of life, a common epidemic created so that the hypnotized souls buy into it - literally emptying their pockets. But this is not what I am blogging about right now. Moving along and directly to the point, most headaches have their source in the sexual tension we carry in our bodies. When we do not honor our sensual and sexual needs and instead spend most of our times at the pinnacle of our spinal cord the result is knocks from the inside - a headache. Like a visitor at your door it taps and taps to get you to open up. Energy is trapped in the attic of the body with limited and restricted movement and no instructions on where to go and what to do. The energy pushes up against the walls of our minds seeking to merge with the eternal energies beyond. But we won't let it. The spinal cord is where the currencies of our energy waves intertwine between each vertebrae naturally and neatly stacked above each other with the moving electrical current keeping us erect, alive and our energy charged and flowing. Imagine a nerve being pinched during the impact of an auto collision when a neck suddenly yanks forward. When we are hit with an emotional bang those energies cling on and create tension that is stored into our core area - the gut of our emotions. At the top of the spine is where the mind resides. The body is capable of storing tons of information in this space that stretches above and beyond the tip of the airstrip of the cervical spine. We spend so much time in there. In fact, that part of our body is bombarded and assaulted with information, knowledge, most of which are false, unreal or imagined. But how many are actually aware of the vast body of timeless wisdom and infinite consciousness that resides at the base of the spine where the sacrum tapers off and fades into our universe of creation and where the ashes lie in which the phoenix of your being rose from. How many have experienced the magnitude of power that lay in waiting or the surge of energy that can turn you on and carry you on? The root chakra is also the place where "Spirit touches tissue", as explained by Louise LeBrun in her book Phoenix Rising: Freeing the Human Potential, where she takes her readers back to the point of their conception. Something happens that allows the tissue to become animated and express as "you". At the very beginning, that animating force touched the physical matter that would eventually shape the expression of "you" into space/time. Right above the root chakra is the home of creativity where our sexual reproductive organs can orchestrate a sweet musical production with the power to create a human. This space is also the seat of our emotions where we store feelings from early family systems. The element is water with a magnetic power to draw to us experiences which allow us to notice the emotions that are held captive in there. Many of our sexual blockages are a result of the painful memories and scars we carry in our second chakra. This is where the movement must take place for feelings to awaken and be freed so that we can enjoy our inherent right to enter the super consciousness realm through sex. It's a requirement to have a deeply fulfilling and rich sexual, Tantric life. But more than most cannot because they are stuck on that level as humans and have not yet mastered moving through and allowing those potent energies to rise above the toxic and rigid tensions that translate into headaches. I also concur with LeBrun when she says that the world's view of the body says that "Strong sensory cues in the body are an indication that something's wrong and needs to be fixed." Like a car or a machine. We must run to the doctor mechanic to fix the car we drive in every day. If we change the perception of your body and recognize with confidence that every signal from the body is an intelligence response to something that has transpired within, then we can allow the message to be processed, to come through, as supposed to stopping it or acting upon it.
