In this article I am going to take a closer look at one of the questions I get asked A LOT by guys who write in...they've heard different people on the internet circuit talking about neuro linguistic programming and how it can be used to seduce women simply by "hypnotizing" them to bend to your every want and whim. So read on as I shed a little bit of light on this dangerous practice, and why it is COMPLETELY unnecessary for you to learn - EVEN if you are desperate to hook up!

First of all - NLP CAN be a useful tool for breaking bad habits. I've studied a little bit myself...and some of it's mind mapping techniques for breaking bad habits are quite good. There are many different areas that NLP has been proven to be effective, it was co-created by Richard Bandler, the famed therapist, and popularized by Anthony Robbins 20 years ago as an effective and powerful tool for breaking out of YOUR OWN limiting beliefs. But of course - this has nothing to do with imposing your will on someone else, or says nothing about applying this power to subliminally manipulate another person - as it obviously should not.

There are several "courses" I've seen online that supposedly teach how to you use Neuro Linguistic Programming to get "over" on members of the opposite sex to have your way with the girl, or guy of your dreams. Don't believe it, even for one second! Of course there ARE many powerful techniques for developing strong mental and spiritual connections with another person...so strong that you are connected as one..:-) But NLP is not set up to be anything like that at all. Simply stated, it was developed, and taught as a tool for self development. Many people for example, have learned to stop smoking or lose weight simply by applying some of the triggers that NLP teaches. It is a controversial..but still well known approach to squelching fears and phobias. And in many ways, it can be effectively used to leap frog out of a personal rut should you find yourself in one. But that's not going to make the girl you have your eye on magically find HERSELF in your BEDROOM..:-) There are many other hypnotically seductive tools for that...NLP is not one of them, and can actually be dangerous if applied or practiced in ways that are designed to manipulate, or otherwise influence others. Don't try it - it won't work...and more importantly, you will look silly and sadly ineffective - which is NOT a turn on at all, I promise!
