An orgasm is the physical and emotional sensation experienced at the peak of sexual excitation, usually resulting from stimulation of the sexual organ. Before an orgasm, your body becomes increasingly excited. Breathing, heart rate and blood pressure increases. The pupils of the eyes dilate; the lips of the mouth darken, the nipples become erect, the clitoris swells, becomes hard and exposed, (much like the aroused penis). With increased excitement, the skin becomes flushed and begins to sweat. In women, the labia, clitoris, vagina and pelvic organs enlarge in similar fashion as the aroused penis. Sometimes there is a plateau of excitement, which is held for several minutes before you are about to orgasm. There is no law that says all women must be orgasmic. Many say they enjoy the affections and closeness of sexual intercourse without climax. While it's true that women do not have to achieve an orgasm every time with partner sex, she will eventually see intercourse as a tiresome routine if she doesn't experience one some of the time. Masturbation is a direct route for women to enjoy pleasurable sensations and orgasms. Therefore how a women masturbates needs to be translated into partner sex, not the other way around. The body will respond with some form of direct or indirect clitoral stimulation, movement, no movement, and/or various breathing patterns such as panting or holding the breath. Paying attention to feelings within her body or staying focused on sexual thoughts and fantasies all contribute to achieving an orgasm. PC Exercises Many women today know the importance of Kegal exercises. The pubococcygeal muscle, or PC is a key player in sexual pleasure for both women and men. This muscle cradles the internal sexual organs and runs from the pubic bone to the tailbone in a figure eight around the genitals. The PC muscle plays a vital role in both male and female sexual response. The jolts and spasms of orgasm are caused by the rapid involuntary contractions of the PC muscles. Strong PC muscles mean better sex, improved erectile functioning, quicker orgasmic response, and intensified pleasure. You can locate the muscles of the pelvic floor by stopping and starting the flow of urine. This is a way to identify the muscle and not an exercise. Use the following guide for a daily PC muscle workout. 1. Locate those muscles and squeeze them tightly on a two-count.
2. Release for one-count
3. Repeat this 20 times.
4. Take a short rest
5. Do the whole thing two more times for a total of 60 repetitions.
6. Do this every day for three weeks without fail and you will find a marked positive change with sex. Breathing Becoming aware of your breath is a powerful way to transform your erotic experience. Conscious breathing allows you to heighten pleasure and soothe tension. Conscious breathing floods your bloodstream with oxygen, which nourishes every cell of your body and fuels your erotic fire. People generally hold their breath and tighten their muscles during sex. Not to mention during a lot of other daily activities. Raising sexual heat or regulating and intensifying an orgasm some tension is necessary. Unfortunately, breath holding is often an involuntary reaction, which, can result in increased muscle tension, premature orgasm and not as deep a sense of fulfillment as is possible. Be aware that breathing, the mind and erotic response are all uniquely interdependent. Altering any one of these aspects can change the other two. A correct relationship to our breathing is an essential component of erotic embodiment. Here are two breathing techniques "Crow Beak" breathing:
Curl the sides of your tongue towards the center like a straw and protrude it slightly beyond your lips. Inhale through this 'straw'. Close your mouth and retain your breath for long as is comfortable then exhale through the nose. Crow beak is cooling and slows the building of erotic sensation. If you're unable to curl your tongue try pressing the tip of your tongue against the roof of your mouth and inhale slowly through the mouth making a slight hissing sound. Retain the breath, followed by exhalation through the nose. This is another cooling breath. Panting:
Hold your mouth open with tongue protruding slightly. Pant rapidly and fully from your belly (not your throat). Promotes arousal and excitability. Such breathing techniques give you and your partner greater options regarding sexual response. If you strain while doing any of these techniques, you are doing them incorrectly. Correct breathing is about creating more erotic flow. When breathing is relaxed and free flowing the result can be greater presence and a more embodied erotic experience. Building Pleasure
There are several types of orgasms and some are better than others. Tension Orgasm, consists of direct genital rubbing and muscle tension. This form gets most people through puberty, into young adulthood, and for some, through the rest of their lives. Tension orgasms rely on leg and buttock muscles being squeezed tight, with the rest of the body held fairly rigid. While holding the breath, a fast motion is used on the clitoris or penis for a few moments or minutes until orgasm explodes in a quick burst. These quick tension orgasms often carry over into many men coming quickly in partner sex.
