In step one you were taught what you need to get started. Now you are going to learn how to improve your skills and feel more confident doing a few "exercises". I want you to start talking to everyone! I mean everyone who's path crosses with yours during that particular day. Say some thing to the cashier at the store, strike up a conversation with a the security guard in at the entrance to your building, that co worker who you always see and don't know yet, the old lady waiting at the crosswalk beside you. You get the point.

Well what should you talk about? Simple innocent comments and small talk on whatever the situation around you happens to be. For example, say you run into two women shopping in the produce isle at the local grocery store, ask them how they select the best cantaloupe or apples. What about the guy walking down the street with your favourite teams baseball hat on? Ask him something only real fans would know. You know what I'm getting at. Once you are comfortable doing this, approaching woman and talking with her will be as easy as ever.

If this becomes part of you daily routine, you'll naturally find your self getting involved in 3-5 more innocuous conversations throughout the day. Naturally, meaning you won't go out of your way to initiate a conversation with a complete stranger. When you find yourself naturally getting in little chit chats with 3-5 random people doing everyday activities then you are ready for the next step.

The next step might seem a little irrational at first but allow me to elaborate. What you are going to do is now go out of your way to approach strangers and talk to them but think in advance what you are going to say to them. The more you do this the more you are going to start noticing yourself always throwing out the perfect comment and at the same time chit-chatting with people without even thinking about it. You have competed this step once you notice yourself doing this.

This approaching skill that you have just developed is going make approaching women very comfortable and easy for you. It will almost seem effortless, but you have already put in the effort getting to this step.
