Small painless purple dot on penis, what is it? ?

A few days ago I found a small painless purple dot on my penis about the size of a pea. I last had sex 2 weeks ago with my girlfriend before she left for overseas. She is the only person I have ever had sex with and we have been having sex for almost a year.
I have read everywhere and the answers range from:
It's a damaged vessel /to it's AIDS /to YOUR GONNA DIE! /to it's nothing.
What the hell is it?? Can anyone help me? Please leave respectful answers.
